Cade Hamilton

Cade Hamilton, an instructor of communication and director of debate, joined Lenoir-Rhyne in 2012 to restart the university's debate program.
His debaters won the Novice National Championship in parliamentary debate in 2013 and the National Christian College Forensics Association Novice Parliamentary Championship in 2014. In 2015, Lenoir-Rhyne debaters finished third in varsity parliamentary debate at Pi Kappa Delta Nationals, the largest collegiate forensics tournament in the nation.
Hamilton previously served as an assistant debate coach at the University of Central Oklahoma. In addition, he taught at Johnson County Community College and Kansas State University as assistant director of debate and as an instructor. Hamilton helped coach the cross-examination debate association national champions in policy debate at KSU in 2011.
Outside the classroom and debate tournaments, he enjoys family time, running, games and political debates.
