Fawzi Hyder is an assistant professor of finance at Lenoir-Rhyne University since 2021. He is also a CAIA Charterholder, a CFA Charterholder and an active volunteer with the CFA Institute. Hyder has taught a variety of investment courses, including investment analysis, portfolio management and financial derivatives. His academic career has benefited from his practical experience as a trader and his work in portfolio management. Hyder believes that a balance between academic and professional work conveys a better learning experience to finance students.

Hyder’s research interests include investments, asset pricing, market efficiency, index additions, arbitrage risk and trading strategies.

Previously, Hyder was an assistant professor of finance at Lebanese American University.
