Forest David joined Lenoir-Rhyne as visiting assistant professor of management in August 2022. Before LR, David taught management classes at Mississippi State University, Campbell University, Francis Marion University, University of Debrecen in Hungary and Partium Christian University in Romania. He is a contributing author to Pearson’s leading strategic management textbook for the 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th editions.

In his classes, David takes pride in focusing on student engagement and the application of practical, skills-based learning, rather than memorization and theory. Aside from his academic work, he holds a United States Coast Guard Master’s Captain License and takes people on boating adventures on a part-time basis during summers.
