Rebecca Gutberlet

Rebecca Gutberlet joined Lenoir-Rhyne in 2024 as a part-time administrative assistant for the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. In this role, she supports the college dean and is responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties of all faculty and staff members.

Prior to working for LR, Gutberlet retired from the State of North Carolina Department of Public Education in March 2023 after more than 30 years. For 20 years, she was employed by Catawba County Schools in different administrative positions for several schools and at the central office. Gutberlet was then employed by Catawba Valley Community College in the finance office for the remaining 10 years before retiring.

Outside of her part-time employment, Gutberlet is an avid traveler, sports fan, reader and shopper.
