• University Storm Recovery Updates

    UPDATE: Tuesday, Oct. 29, 8:30 a.m.
We are pleased to announce that Wi-Fi service has been restored to the Asheville Center. Current students, faculty, and staff may now access the building for study, work or other necessary activities. Please note there may be occasional short outages as our service provider continues the recovery process.

Drinking water is not available in the building. Some bottled water is available on site, but we encourage anyone using the building to bring their own drinking water if possible. The bathrooms on site now have working toilets.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate the challenges posed by Hurricane Helene. Please stay tuned for further updates.

LR Partners in Higher Education

Lenoir-Rhyne is excited to partner with other colleges and universities to provide graduate education at a discounted rate to graduates of partner institutions. Through the partnership program, alumni from the partner institutions will receive the following incentives for enrolling in participating graduate programs at Lenoir-Rhyne:

  • 10 percent tuition discount throughout the student’s entire program of study.
  • Waived application fees.
  • Waived standardized testing requirements unless required by state licensing agencies.

Partner Institution Agreement

The purpose of the partnership is to create a reciprocal agreement for cooperation to further the missions of both institutions by establishing a strategic relationship of mutual benefit. The agreement encourages partner institutions to build undergraduate to graduate pathways for their students while simultaneously encouraging highly prepared undergraduate students from these institutions to enroll in graduate programs at Lenoir-Rhyne.

Lenoir-Rhyne will partner in branding, marketing and recruiting efforts when it serves to the advantage of both institutions. Contracts are reviewed on an annual basis and will be continued unless otherwise terminated by notification. Either institution may terminate the contract at the end of any semester; however, any student currently enrolled and receiving the discount will continue to do so throughout their tenure as a Lenoir-Rhyne student.

These discounts may not be combined with any other Lenoir-Rhyne discount program. If other discounts exist, the student may select the one that provides the greatest discount. Lenoir-Rhyne reserves the right not to offer discounted credits in certain programs.
