Be fearless and choose your adventure! The great outdoors awaits you in Hickory, North Carolina.

You’re capable of more than you can imagine! Go outside your comfort zone with the Lenoir-Rhyne Outdoor Adventure Club. Accept the challenge and come explore with LR!

  • Learn basic survival skills.
  • Take part in outings and events for all skill and adventure levels.
  • Develop outdoor skills, learn about nature and develop an appreciation for the outdoors.

Take advantage of leadership opportunities as you progress through your time in college.

  • Organize and lead club events.  
  • Take part in a senior event — a two night survival scenario (club participation will prepare you for the survival scenario).
