Zainab Bendahhou

Zainab Bendahhou joined Lenoir-Rhyne in fall 2024 as a graduate assistant coach for men's and women's tennis.
During her time as a student-athlete at SCSU, Bendahhou excelled as a leader and athlete, serving as captain of the Women’s Tennis Team for two seasons. Her outstanding performance on the court earned her several significant honors, including All-Conference First Team selections in both singles and doubles. In 2019, she was a MEAC Champion and received the prestigious MEAC Outstanding Player of the Year award. Her contributions were also recognized early in her college career when she was named Rookie of the Year in 2018, followed by the Most Improved Player award in 2019.
Originally from Casablanca, Morocco, Bendahhou is excited to be a part of the LR community. Now pursuing her Master of Science in Business Administration, she is eager to bring her expertise and passion for tennis to the university, where she looks forward to making a meaningful impact on the program.
