Joseph Rhyne

Joseph Rhyne is an instructor for the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program at Lenoir-Rhyne. In addition to teaching, he serves as the faculty advisor for Pi Theta Epsilon.
Before joining the faculty at LR, Rhyne held the position of inpatient occupational therapist at Catawba Valley Medical Center, and is a previous recipient of the Catawba Valley Health System C.A.R.E. Award. He has a passion for working with individuals who have experienced neurological injuries.
Rhyne is also an instructor at OT Help Desk, where he is part of a team focused on assisting students with building strategies designed to help develop their study plan and process for the NBCOT exam. He focuses on using teaching methods to instill clinical reasoning abilities to enhance a student’s ability to grow into an effective clinician.
