Applied Computer Science Minor


Our hands-on program provides an introduction to operating systems, programming, computer languages and more.

A minor in Applied Computer Sciences can enhance the value of many degrees. Since computers play a pivotal role in our everyday lives, developing a deeper understanding of basic operating systems and computer architecture allows you to enhance your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. 

Courses will allow you to understand the fundamentals of popular programming languages, while enhancing your logical reasoning and mathematical skills. You will also learn about operating systems, software development, algorithm development and more.  

A minor in Applied Computer Sciences is especially beneficial for those majoring in mathematics, engineering physics, entrepreneurship and information technology.
