LR’s Student Life Awards Shine Again
An emerging tradition at Lenoir-Rhyne University returned on April 21 as students, faculty, staff and families gathered in P.E. Monroe Auditorium to celebrate the return of the Student Life Awards. The awards recognize those who have made a lasting impact on campus life throughout the academic year.

“With student input and guidance, we revamped the ceremony last year, and we’re so excited to see it grow to include more students this year,” shared Casey Stafford, director of student involvement and leadership. “We’re creating an experience that will form life-long memories and joy for every student in attendance.”

The ceremony kicked off with lively mingling, stylish snacks, mocktails and dazzling 360 photo opportunities from the Kuiet Company in the auditorium lobby, setting the stage for a glamorous evening. Twinkling lights and shimmering decorations created a festive atmosphere to celebrate LR’s vibrant campus life and honor the dedicated individuals who make the university shine.
“The Student Life Awards are about more than recognition — they’re about community,” said Harry Titus, Ed.D., dean of students. “It’s a moment to celebrate the passion, leadership, and resilience of our students. Every nominee and award recipient represents the heart of LR, and nights like this remind us what’s possible when students feel seen, heard and supported.”
