The Bass Fishing Club offers students of all skill levels the opportunity to engage in the sport of bass fishing, fostering both teamwork and individual growth. Members participate in local and national collegiate tournaments, such as the Major League Fishing Abu Garcia College Series and the Strike King Bassmaster College Series, representing LR on competitive stages. 

The club emphasizes conservation practices, adhering to catch-and-release policies to maintain ecological balance. Beyond competition, the club provides a welcoming community for those interested in recreational fishing, promoting camaraderie and a deeper appreciation for nature. Whether you're an experienced angler or new to the sport, the Bass Fishing Club invites you to explore the rewarding experience of fishing.

The esports team competes in multiple different games, against other collegiate teams. The student-led organization provides an environment for students to grow in their respective games, form a bond with other team members and coaches, as well as compete at a collegiate level. Due to the nature of the organization, members tend to grow or improve their communication, teamwork, problem-solving and develop great focus skills. The organization is a growing community and is welcome to students that want to improve themselves.

The Garden Club cultivates a love for horticulture through on-campus events.

The Outdoor Activity Club offers adventures and nature-based experiences, from hiking to camping, promoting physical fitness and environmental appreciation. 

As part of LR’s Spirit Team, the Sugarbears perform at football and basketball games.
