Dan Grimm

Dan Grimm joined Lenoir-Rhyne as an adjunct faculty member in 2014. He moved into a full-time assistant professor role in 2016 after a significant professional career in scientific and medical research in microbiology and biochemistry. After finishing his doctoral degree, he completed a National Institutes of Health Postdoctoral Research Fellowship with the Duke University Medical Center.

Grimm was awarded the 2021 Raymond Morris Bost Distinguished Professor Award. It is given annually to honor an LR faculty member for outstanding teaching and mentorship.
